Last week, on behalf of Istanbul Modern, Camron took Monocle, Domus, Lapiz International Art Magazine, Elle Decoration, Numero, The Museums Journal and Axis on a press trip to Istanbul to visit the much acclaimed museum for contemporary art, which has been two decades in the making.
They met with David Elliott the new museum director and formerly director of the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo .seum director and visited Venice – Istanbul the current exhibition curated by Rosa Martinez.
The journalists also had the opportunity to meet with some fabulous Istanbul based artists, that included the likes of <a href =“http://www.banucennetoglu.com”>Banu Cennetoglu and <a href =“http://www.b-a-s.info”>BAS and soak up the creative energy that pervades this soon to be city of culture. This city literally typifies East meets West and the cultural melting pot is something not to be missed.
