Project details

This week we brought a Kuwait-based retail concept store and the new fragrance brand The Fragrance Kitchen to life in London. Sheikh Majed Al Sabah, founder of Villa Moda department stores, hosted an intimate preview day at The Connaught Hotel for the global launch of his new collection of unisex perfumes and scents inspired by his life in the Middle East. Guests were invited to sample some of the smells each with clever names such as Mr. Danger, Son of a Rose and Naughty Patchouli. Dutch designer Kiki van Eijk was on hand to show the limited edition ceramic bottle she designed as part of the ‘Handmade Line’ – only 100 will be created. ‘I don’t keep a written diary’, said Sheikh Majed, ‘I am documenting my life through scents’. Life has never smelled better.
