Last week Camron brought a group of leading design and lifestyle journalists, representing publications in China, France, Italy, Russia and the UK, to Copenhagen for the launch of Æsir, a new Danish mobile phone company, and their first phone the YB1, designed by the inimitable Yves Béhar. The phone is still under wraps and will launch in spring 2011 so this select group of journalists were invited to be the first to see Yves’ incredible phone and hear about the genesis of Æsir. They will break the story in their respective countries in March 2011. Over an incredible few days the journalists sampled experiential smørrebrød at the apartment of celebrated Danish designer Jens Martin Skibsted, visited the incredible Edition Copenhagen and enjoyed the most memorable meal at The Paul, cooked personally by British chef Paul Cunningham. There was some work too, with an intensive round table that took the journalists through the entire Æsir journey followed by a Q&A session with Yves Béhar. A special mention must go to the fantastic bar Ruby and the creation of the Æsir cocktail!
