Project details

Milan 2010- will always be remembered as Marcus Fairs put it as ‘Volcano Milano’. There were 16 of us from Camron in Milan- and we all found our way home, whether this was on a bus, train, boat or unusual itinerary through Austria! Now that the cloud is lifting, we are extremely proud of the installations in the city, and Cosmit had a vintage year at the Fiera. BarberOsgerby stunned everyone with the sound environment for Sony, while just down the street Audi was a welcome newcomer to Milan. Swarovski Crystal Palace ‘glittered’ as Jules Wright curated a mesmerizing exhibition. We loved in particular the Bend sofa by Patricia Urquiola at B&B Italia, we were impressed by the new Armani/Casa store and like many people, sought out Kartell in the city and at the fair. Design Vertigo dazzled and at Rossana Orlandi both Bokja and Omer at Bocci contributed to captivating and very different installations. And finally, there were so many fantastic parties during the week, but Skitsch will be especially remembered for its buzzy atmosphere and great location.
