Last Thursday evening we launched the new London store for Skitsch, the Italian design brand which celebrates its first anniversary in April. Skitsch’s CEO Renato Preti and art director Cristina Morozzi hosted a fun party with London’s design crowd and Skitsch designers Peter Marigold, Jean Marie Massaud, and the store’s architect Luca Bombassei. DJ Marc Moore added to the atmosphere, along with prosecco flown in from Italy and hand-carved prosciutto. Located in West London’s fashion and design district on Brompton Road, the store is 350 square metres and sells an eclectic mix of exclusive products. The philosophy behind the brand is to create unusual everyday products by established as well as up-and-coming designers. The new London store launched the new 2010 collection, which will be showcased in Milan at the original Skitsch store during the Salone del Mobile. All products can be bought online on their website.
