Gilded glamour is back in town – well it certainly is in New York, where we celebrated the opening of Le Caprice, the city’s latest hotspot. Martin Brudnizki, the designer of this new restaurant is also behind the interiors of Scott’s, J Sheekey, The Club at The Ivy, and Cecconis in West Hollywood. The restaurant marries the Gotham aesthetic with London glamour; the black and white theme echoed in a series of David Bailey photographs of iconic sixties model Jean Shrimpton. New York’s Le Caprice, situated within The Pierre Hotel, will attract a sparkling crowd who will love the long mirrored bar where they can enjoy their iced berries with cream – a Caprice specialty.
