This year’s Design Miami/Basel show in Hall 5 featured 27 returning and debuting galleries. The work included pieces from Galerie Perrin to contemporary galleries such as Gabrielle Ammann Gallery and Galleria Rossana Orlandi.
Brad Pitt arrived on Tuesday and bought the whole ‘Evolution’ collection by Eindhoven graduate Nacho Carbonell. Roman Abramovich watched Dasha Zhukova take part in ‘Audience’, a participatory piece by art and design collective Random International.
Parties have been fun with Pharrell Williams launching into a Basel-themed rapathon to his repeated question ‘Design Miami do you like Sex?’
Camron had a team at Design Miami/Basel all week dealing with 550 journalists from over 25 countries.
