Project details
Camron set up HQ in Design Miami last week where we had a lot happening. After our morning briefing breakfasts at The News Café we all went to The Design District. Apart from our European representation of Design Miami/, we also looked after Swarvoski Crystal Palace, Meta and the debut of Al Sabah Art and Design Collection. The Design District was transformed and we love the new Marni and Tomas Maier stores that have just opened. The filigree white temporary structure designed by Aranda\Lasch housed the galleries together with the HSBC Private Bank lounge by the Campana Brothers and Audi’s inspirational landscape space. The Nature exhibition, curated by Wava Carpenter in the space opposite took everyone’s breath away and was the perfect setting for the Design Talks hosted by Dezeen. There was a buzz and optimism in spite of the downturn which demonstrates the power of creativity.
A highlight of our trip was Grace Jones, an evening hosted by Audi in the Florida Bar at The Delano.
