Rossella and Piero Bisazza hosted a trip to their Headquarters in Vicenza last week for London and Paris based editors. The spell-binding space is like MOMA in New York, and the commissions of key designers such as Studio Job and Mendini have been carefully curated. Many of the installations were there from previous Milan fairs and it was a delight to see Marcel and Jaime’s projects together with the famous Bisazza mini. After lunch, we went to the new Palladio exhibition which just opened and will be coming to The Royal Academy in early 2009 and this set us up for our journey to Venice that evening. We had bellinis at Harry’s Bar and walked back that evening past the luminous view of Palladio’s San Giorgio Magiore. The following day after our morning at the Biennale, we loved our lunch at Conte Scorta, and concluded the trip with a few hours at the exhibition in Palazzo Grassi.
