The degree show season has kicked off and I nipped down to Kensington Gore to look at the Royal College of Art‘s contribution from the Class of 2010. Offerings from students of photography, ceramics, jewelry and printmaking were nicely displayed for perusal. You can tell, instinctively, which of the artists and designers have mastered that magic touch which makes their work not just clever and creative but commercial too. I really liked Sun-Ae Kim’s playful ceramics based on Hogarth’s engravings.
