Boom Boom Room
New York is back! And nothing showed this more than my visit to the handsome Standard Hotel. Dinner at Standard Grill was fabulous and the electric vibe and red banquets in the main dining room still somehow felt cozy. Then it was up to the Penthouse and the Boom Boom Room which is the hottest, most glamorous ticket in town. This is hands down the sexiest place in the world right now – with a sleek circular center bar, backed by what looks like a dramatic, light wood, floor-to-ceiling funnel. The sweeping 360 degree views of Manhattan and the beautiful people dancing till the wee hours reminded me I was back in good ol’ New York City!
