With a desire to create immersive environments, architect David Rockwell designs from the inside out, placing the user’s experience at the centre of each project. His 220-strong firm Rockwell Group and the Madrid based Rockwell Group Europe employs a cross-disciplinary approach to its diverse array of projects that range from hotels to hospitals, restaurants to airport terminals and Broadway set designs to consumer products. Past and present projects include the W New York and W Union Square, the global expansion of Nobu, the interior of the new JetBlue terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Maze (London), Belvedere Hotel Mykonos, as well as Broadway stage sets for Hairspray and Legally Blonde.
