Sony has linked up with UK design duo Edward Jay and Barber Osgerby to create an unusual installation in the Zona Tortona for the Salone in Milan in April. The design collaborators are looking at ways in which electronics products can evolve and integrate much more with furniture and a domestic lifestyle. The collection of prototypes will be displayed in a specially constructed anechoic chamber, a space with low ambient noise constructed from sound-absorbing cones.
